Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz Pasta any kind
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken shredded or diced (rotisserie and canned works great)
  • 2 15 oz jars Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
  2. Cook the pasta until 1-2 minutes shy of al dente. Drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine: Alfredo sauce, Heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, Garlic powder, Onion powder, Italian seasoning, Pepper, Salt (if needed)
  4. Stir in: Cooked chicken, Pasta, Mozzarella, Parmesan, any other optional add ins like Broccoli or Mushrooms
  5. Pour into the prepared baking dish
  6. Mix together the melted butter, panko, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until hot and bubbly
  8. Broil for 1-2 minutes if you'd like the topping extra golden
  9. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving
  10. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan

Notes

Only have one jar of Alfredo Sauce? No problem just do the following:
Continue following Step 3 but only add your 1 jar of Alfredo Sauce and add 1 cup heavy cream (or 1 cup half-and-half) and a ½ cup milk to the Step 3 mixture.
 
If you have raw chicken you need to use up:
Then season the chicken with the same spices listed in the recipe and sear in a cast iron pan until golden brown on both sides (about 4-5 minutes each side) then transfer to your already preheated oven until the chicken reaches a safe internal temperature of 165 degrees F. about 10 minutes depending on thickness of chicken.
